Club makes impact at District Conference

You know it was a great experience when there are so many highlights that it takes a list to account for them all!

Cheryl helwig (left), Floyd Ingersoll and Maria Sall got in the conference spirit!
  • Congratulations to Cheryl Helwig upon receiving a Service Above Self award for her many areas of involvement and leadership.
  • Hats off to President Floyd Ingersoll for fulfilling all requirements for a 2011-12 Presidential Citation. Rogers blew away the district’s expectation to grow by one member; YTD we have a net gain of seven!
  • The club received two district leadership awards: Award of Excellence for PR and Honorable Mention for Membership Development!
  • The professional STRIVE video (Paul Kelzer), materials (Charlene Ribaudo), and experienced facilitators (Maria Sall, Cheryl Helwig, and Tim Buck) made the booth a valuable resource for other clubs.
  • New member Kathy Kapsner represented the club in the choir.
  • Max Saint Louis (Floyd’s son-in-law) participated fully including the service project that packed 10,000 meals for Feed My Starving Children.
  • District 5950 CFO Lee Ashfeld led the annual budget meeting.
