District 5950 presents One Rotary Summit on Saturday, September 19. Join on Zoom to learn and share how we MN Rotarians are acting on Rotary Opens Opportunities.

The summit emphasizes the relationship between Membership, Public Image, and Humanitarian Service through The Rotary Foundation. It’s a unique and effective way to help club members understand and become truly engaged in the opportunities offered by Rotary and Rotaract.

And it’s FREE and open to all District 5950 Rotarians on Zoom. Contact President Cheri to register.

PD & Fire blood drive sets record!

The 2020 Rogers Fire and Police Department Community Blood Drive collected a record high of 81 donations. Seventy-one donors registered for this event; 13 people gave a double donation. Thank you to the amazing members of our community that made this possible!

Thanks, Rotarians, for helping promote this. And kudos to Lenny Kirscht who was one of the double-red donors!

International grant approved!

The Rotary Club of Rogers submitted its first-ever international grant to the District 5950 Grants Committee…and the application was approved on August 20! The collective funds and matching district support will provide personal protective equipment (PPEs) and ten educational iPads for a rural Nicaragua village.

Along with Rogers’ seed money, other participating Rotary clubs include Brooklyn Park, Maple Grove, Minneapolis University and Minnetonka. The Host (Nicaragua) Club will be the Rotary Club of Jinotepe.
