Thank you to all who suggested prospective or former members wishing for a noon meeting time. Membership co-chair Jack Hines has invited these guests to the 9/12 lunch meeting at Harvest Grill.

In a bit of déjà vu, the guest speaker will be Dave Henningson, lead Maple Grove Rotary sponsor who guided our Rogers club to charter status in 2005-06. He will present a brief “Rotary 101” overview and answer guests’ questions.

If there are additional prospective members who should be invited, please send their email addresses to Jack. If the satellite group moves forward, they will determine the weekly meeting date. We sincerely thank Skip Walser for agreeing to lead this formative group.

District 5950’s Fall Training is Friday, September 27

As a business professional and active Rotarian, you are already a leader. Enhance five specific skills during District 5950’s Fall Leadership Training on September 27at the Arboretum in Chanhassen.

Check-in is at 8 a.m. with programming and lunch through 1:30 p.m.

Keynote speaker Lori Jacobwith kicks off the morning with an interactive session on Engaging Rotary, offering practical tools to motivate Rotarians.

Breakout sessions offer variety for all participants. And the food is great!
