Golf scramble sets records

Party Cart winner Bob Morlock heads out on the Fox Hollow course.

The Rogers Rotary~Christain Builders & Remodelers Golf Scramble broke records …..with 98 golfers and the support of a title sponsor, four corporate sponsors, and a variety of specialty sponsors. THANK YOU to each golfer and business owner who made this our most successful scramble ever!

Why is success important? Because this is our single fundraiser that allows Rogers Rotary to give back to the community throughout the 2019-20 Rotary year.

Dave Christian takes the reins as club president on July 1. He has more ideas and enthusiasm than can be contained in one year!! The money we raised through the golf scramble will be used effectively, ethically, and enthusiasticaly in the local and larger community.

Paul Harris Fellowships awarded to Cheryl, Marc

Rotary giving has two components:  sweat equity in local service projects, and financial support of The Rotary Foundation (TRF) which leverages gifts and matching funds to create a huge impact worldwide. Wednesday’s meeting celebrated Cheryl Helwig (Counselor Realty) and Marc Macke (Agency 10 Insurance) for TRF donations reaching the next $1,000 level. Congratulations and thank you both!
