Maple Grove Rotary and Rogers Rotary combine a weekly meeting at Malmborg’s Garden Center for fellowship, fun and poinsettias! Malmborg’s offers fundraising opportunities for groups or organizations to pre-sell poinsettias to family, friends and neighbors; so you only pay for poinsettias you have already sold! After delivering beautiful, Malmborg’s grown poinsettias, your group keeps the profits from the sales. For fundraiser information, please contact Van Cooley at 763.242.4343 or van@geraniumsbygeorge.com
Rogers Rotary Club participates in Warm Hands, Warm Hearts and donates hats and mittens to Rogers Elementary Schools. Warm Hands, Warm Hearts was founded by Paige Kassner in NE Wisconsin in 2008 at just 16 years old. Paige founded this organization after her grandfather, suffering from Lou Gehrig’s Disease told her that no matter how small she was, she can make a difference. Paige remembers his kindness, the power of courage and, of course, the importance of giving to others. With Warm Hands, Warm Hearts Paige hopes to encourage others the same way her grandfather encouraged her. To learn more about Paige and Warm Hands, Warm Hearts click here.
The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. This was established in 1957 to show appreciation and encourage substantial contributions to what was then the Foundation’s only program. We really appreciate all our Paul Harris fellows! Congratulations to Nate and Dino.

Rogers Rotary enjoyed taking part in Word of Peaces’ 1st Annual Truck or Treat Event. The cold, rainy weather did not keep us or the kids from coming out and having a great time! Special thank you to Chief of Police Jeff Beahen for the squad car.
One of the many benefits of being a Rotary member is the International Exchange Program giving Rotarians and Rotary couples opportunities to experience other cultures by staying in the homes of Rotarians, visiting their clubs and participating in the life style and activities of their community.
The goal of Rotary Friendship Exchange is to advance international understanding and peace through visits across borders and to promote interclub relationships, fellowships and service projects.
Join Rotary and gain opportunities to make long lasting friendships while exploring different areas of the world.
Nate Cotter and Din Buege received their second Paul Harris Award! Congratulations!
Tammie Epley of Students Connecting Through International Service spoke with Rogers Rotary. An important six-school program helps 5th graders lead school supply drives and then deliver the supplies directly to Mexican students. These Mexican children are required to provide their own school supplies to attend school, and most can’t, so the MN kids are making it possible for the Mexican students to get an education. The MN students benefit too! They learn about another culture, gain a deeper appreciation for their own schools and communities, and find out first-hand that their individual efforts can make a real difference in the world. After the trip, they share this knowledge, through video, pictures, and stories, with each of their schools and communities We think this program is helping all of the students to progress towards becoming successful, contributing global citizens.
