Combine fun and Rotary Service in Thailand

St. Louis Park Noon Rotary Club has sponsored another playground
park for the children of Thailand. This very special playground will be built
the week before the 2012 Rotary International Convention in Bangkok, and will
be dedicated in conjunction with the convention. District 5950 will be
highlighted at the convention for sponsoring this project. A member of the Thai
Royal Family will dedicate the playground on Saturday before the convention
(May 5).
The playground will be built by Rotarians who want to come and assist and will be the gift that Rotary leaves Bangkok for hosting our convention. PDG Paul Bierhaus has been working with the Bangkok Host Committee for two years to make this project happen.
In 2003, District 5950 built the largest playground in Thailand. Because of its success, the Host Committee of Bangkok wanted another playground for their children in need.
If you want to go to Bangkok, Thailand during the week prior to the convention to help build the playground, please contact PDG Paul Bierhaus at paul@bierhaus.net.

The Rotary International Convention is May 6-9,2012. Click on registration and housing information to learn about getting the best prices.
