Generosity makes bell ringing rewarding

“People had to push their bills into the kettle because it was full by 10 a.m.,” exclaimed co-president Dave Christain about his Salvation Army bell ringing shift at Cub Foods. And guess what? The experience was repeated for Rotary volunteers early and late in the afternoon.

“Greeting people with a ‘Merry Christmas’ and engaging with them made a difference,” said Floyd Ingersoll.

This is the second year Rogers Rotary has staffed the bell at Cub Foods in Rogers.
